Emily wins Silver at Color Zoom ’14!

We’re thrilled to announce that Emily, co-owner of headromance, won Silver in the Creative Colourist category at the celebrated Color Zoom ’14 event, which took place on 28th July at B1 @ Victoria House in central London.

The competition, led by professional colour brand GOLDWELL, invites colourists from all over the UK to interpret a key world trend. This year’s was ‘REALLUSION’ and required entrants to use Goldwell colour products to create a look on a model that demonstrated their individual interpretation of the optical illusion-inspired brief.

Hundreds of photographic entries were whittled down to just 5 finalists in each category. The entries were judged by leading industry names including hair icon Beverly C (MBE), renowned colourist Karine Jackson and key press.

After the bronze, silver and gold winners were announced to the audience of 450 attendees, Emily said: ‘I’m so incredibly happy to have won Silver – I put my heart and soul into creating a look that I felt encapsulated the brief and to have that acknowledged by some of my hairdressing idols is the best reward. I’m delighted to take this prize back to headromance – I could not have done it without the support of our wonderful team.’
